Abstrak : Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI)

Abstrak : Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) merupakan indikator penting untuk menilai tingkat kesejahteraan suatu negara dan status kesehatan masyarakatnya. AKI merupakan salah satu target yang masih sulit dicapai di Indonesia, dimana target Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 2015 ialah menurunkan AKI menjadi 102/100.000 kelahiran hidup. Dari penyebab tersebut, MDGs bertujuan untuk menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan bayi yang dibantu oleh berbagai kegiatan program lain, seperti melalui program puskesmas dan posyandu dengan memberikan imunisasi, Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak(KIA), promosi kesehatan, visi Indonesia sehat, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Sedangkan pada ibu dapat dilakukan dengan antenatal care dan penyuluhan tentang konsep sehat dan sakit. Selain itu dapat juga dilakukan dengan cakupan penolong tenaga kesehatan melalui kegiatan poned, polindes dan poskesdes.

Abstract: maternal mortality (AKI) and infant mortality (AKB) is an important indicator for assessing the level of a country's well-being and health status of the people.
