pada tanggal 6 juni 2016 saya dan teman-teman seangkatan mengikuti acara Jamteks 37 (Jamborette Tekstil 37) yang katanya diwajibkan untuk semua mahasiswa baru Politeknik STTT Bandung. Jamteks 37 adalah kegiatan/acara menyambutnya mahasiswa baru dari mahasiswa lama/senior dengan cara "bersenang-senang" dengan mahasiswa baru. Acara tersebutg dilaksanakan di Pangalengan selama 3 hari 2 malam.
Pada hari Pertama, kami pergi ke Pangalengan pada pukul 13.30 dengan menggunakan Truk. Kami tiba di tujuan (Pangalengan) pada pukul 17.50. Disana kami disambut dengan meriah,disambut dengan atraksi permainan berbahaya yaitu mengeluarkan minyak tanah yang disimpan didalam mulut dan menyemburkannya ke kayu yang terbakar. Juga disambut dengan suara alat musik pukul yang dimainkan oleh senior. Pokoknya sewaktu tiba disana hati ini merasa takut,senang, dan tidak tenang.
Malamnya, disana ada pesta UKM atau Bazar UKM (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa).Bazar itu sangat ramai oleh mahasiswa baru yang ingin mengikuti organisasi atasu UKM. Dan saya juga berkunjung ke stan "Silhouette" , yaitu UKM yang mengajarkan tentang alat musik gitar klasik. Stan Silhouette ramai dan saya hanya mendengarkan apa yang dibicarakan oleh anggota-anggota Silhouette.Setelah bazar UKM habis waktunya, kami disuruh berkumpul lagi di lapangan untuk mengikuti acara selanjutnya.
Acara selanjutnya adalah acara panggung yang diisi oleh penampilan senior-senior dan juga DJ dari luar kampus STTT Bandung. Waktu menunjukkan pukul 01.00 kami diperbolehkan untuk tidur di tenda masing-masing oleh panitia.
Dihari kedua, kami bangun pukul 04.00 untuk melaksanakan sholat subuh, dan dengan keadaan yang sangat-sangat dingin. Dinginnya itu seperti ditusuk-tusuk,sakit. Dihari kedua ini, kami panas-panasan karena kami disuruh untuk menjuak barang-barang bekas kepada warga sekitar Pangalengan, dan harus sampai habis barangnya. Dengan sejutga cara pun kami menawarkan barang kepada warga agar warga membeli barang bekas kami, harganya murah sekali,sampai dengan Rp.1000 / potong. Dan akhirnya barang bekas kami pun laku semua,habis . Cape dan lelah rasanya setalah berpanas-panasan dibawah terik matahari. Huh.
Dihari ketiga, kami mengikuti acara Hiking yang diadakan oleh panitia KELOMETAL (Kelompok Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam) dan kami pun pulang pada jam 17.30 dan tiba di kampus pukul 09.00. Benar-benar melelahkan. Seluruh tubuh terasa panas dan juga kucel/kotor. Dan 1 hal yang telah saya amati bahwa "bersenang-senang" dari Jamteks 37 itu bukan untuk mahasiswa barunya, melainkan untuk mahasiswa lama/seniornya. hahaha

Tersebutg event held in Pangalengan for 3 days 2 nights.On the first day, we went to Pangalengan at 13.30 by using trucks. We arrived at the destination (Pangalengan) at 35.95. There we were greeted with great fanfare, was greeted with the attractions of the dangerous game that is removing the kerosene that is stored inside the mouth and menyemburkannya to wood burning. Also greeted with the sound of a musical instrument which is played by senior at. Anyway when it arrives there, this heart felt scared, happy, and not silence.That night, there is a feast of the SMES or the SME Bazaar (Student activity units). The Bazaar was very crowded by new students who want to follow the Organization of atasu SMES. And I also visited the booth of "Silhouette", i.e. SMES that teaches about the classical guitar music. Stan's lively Silhouette and I just listened to what was discussed by members of the Silhouette after time runs out SME Bazaar, we were told to gather again on the course to follow in the next event.The next event is the event stage is filled by the appearance of the seniors and also DJ from off campus STTT Bandung. Time shows at 01:00 we are allowed to sleep in a tent by the respective Committee.The second day, we woke up at 4 a.m. to carry out prayers, and with a very-very cool. The chill of it such as ditusuk-tusuk, ill. The second day, we hot-panasan because we are told to menjuak secondhand goods to citizens about Pangalengan, and must be to run out the goods. With sejutga any way we offer the goods to the citizens so that our citizens buy used items, it's cheap as hell, up to Rp. 1000/piece. And finally, we also sell used items of all, exhausted. Cape and tired it feels after berpanas-panasan under the blazing sun. Huh.The third day, we followed a hike organized by the Committee for KELOMETAL (a group of Lovers of nature) and we went home at 17.30 and arriving on campus at 09.00. Really tiring. The whole body feels hot and also kucel/dirty. And one thing I've observed that the "fun" of Jamteks 37 it's not new for the students, but to the old student/senior. hahaha
