Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peneliti menemukan beberapa hal yang menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam membaca teks. Dan dalam penelitian ini terdapat lima kesulitan. Yaitu; Pertama, Menentukan Ide Pokok, bahawa siswa kebingungan dalam menentukan main idea. Kedua, Mencari Referensi, bawah siswa kesulitan, ketika ingin menjawab pertanyaan. Ketiga, Memahami Kosa kata, bawah siswa kesulitan, karena siswa tidak banyak mengusai kosa kata. Keempat, Membuat Inferensi, bawa siswa kesulitan dalam menyimpulkan dari apa yang di baca, kerena siswa tersebut kebingugan. kelima, Informasi Terperinci. bahwa, siswa kesulitan untuk mengetahui detail information, karena teknya berbahasa inggris

The results of this research show that researchers found several things that caused students difficulty in reading texts. And in this research there are five difficulties. That is; First, Determining the Main Idea, that students are confused in determining the main idea. Second, looking for references, students have difficulty when they want to answer questions. Third, Understanding Vocabulary, students have difficulty, because students do not master much vocabulary. Fourth, Making Inferences, make students have difficulty in concluding from what they read, because the students are confused. fifth, Detailed Information. that, students find it difficult to find out detailed information, because the text is in English
