Suspensi merupakan suatu formulasi herbisida yang sukar larut dalam air, minyak, maupun pelarut lain. Bentuk tepung dapat membentuk suspensi bila didispersikan air, meskipun perlu pengadukan yang tetap agar tidak mengendap. Suspensi ini terdiri dari partikel pejal yang berbaur dalam cairan. Suspensi seperti ini diperuntukkan bagi herbisida yang tidak dapat disiapkan sebagai larutan atau emulsi. Penambahan surfactant akan memantapkan bentuk suspensi ini. Contoh: Simazine, Atrazine, Monuron, dan Diuron
