Jakarta - Mendikbud Muhadjir Effendy memutuskan untuk menghapus Ujian Nasional (UN). Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Ketua Umum Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) Unifah Rasidi menyebut keputusan itu adalah hal yang benar.

"Sejak ditetapkan bukan sebagai alat kelulusan, saya kira ini harapkan kita bersama, dihapuskan saja. Itu ibaratnya menghabiskan dana tetapi fungsinya tidak jelas dan harapan kita UN dihapuskan," kata Unifah saat dihubungi detikcom, Sabtu (26/11/2016).

Selain dana yang dikeluarkan tidak sedikit, Unifah menyebut bahwa variasi dalam merumuskan standar kelulusan antar daerah yang satu dengan yang lain sangat berbeda jauh. Hal ini menyebabkan tidak meratanya pendidikan di setiap daerah.

Namun demikian, dia menyarankan agar setiap daerah tetap harus memiliki standar kelulusan yang jelas. "Meski dihapuskan tapi tetap harus ada capaian yang harus dikejar, jadi setiap daerah diberi target standar kelulusan seperti apa," ujar Unifah.

"Jadi tidak bisa sebebas-bebasnya, harus ada ukuran penilaian," tambahnya.

Selain itu, dia juga berharap para guru tetap konsisten dalam menjamin pendidikan para siswa. Meski UN tak lagi jadi standar kelulusan, para guru diharap tetap membekali siswa apapun standar kelulusannya.

"Kan boleh itu (UN) tidak jadi alat ukur, jadi kelulusan untuk alat ukur engga sedikit ya," tegasnya.

Sebelumnya, Muhadjir mengatakan keputusan menghapus UN tinggal menunggu Instruksi Presiden (Inpres). Ujian akhir bagi siswa sekolah di-desentralisasi.
