penelitian ini menghasilkan bangun pengetahuan berupa teori elastisitas ruang, berdasarkan rajutan dari sistem nilai, aktivitas pelaku serta setting fisik di kawasan. dalam elastisitas ruang ini, segala perilaku pengguna dalam menggunakan ruang terkait dengan kegiatan sosial, budaya, ekonomi dan kreativitas pelaku dalam menanggapi kondisi yang ada di kawasan ini melalui proses eksploitasi ruang, adaptasi ruang secara fisik yang dilakukan secara kolaborasi antar pelaku pengguna ruang. temuan teori elastisitas ruang di kawasan balubur tamansari ini memberikan pengkayaan terhadap teori arsitektur khususnya teori perencanaan dan perancangan kota yang selama ini sudah ada sebelumnya.

This research resulted in wake of knowledge in the form of the theory of elasticity of space, based on the value system of knitted, as well as the physical setting of the perpetrator's activity in the region. in this room, all the elasticity behaviour of users in the use of space-related activities in the social, cultural, economic and creative actors in response to existing conditions in this area through the process of exploitation of space, adaptation to the physical space which is done in collaboration between the perpetrators of the user space. the findings of the theory of elasticity in a space it gives the tamansari balubur enriched the theory of architecture, in particular the theory of planning and designing a city for as long as it's been there before.
