Sinopsis Film Iron Man 1. Iron Man berkisah tentang seorang pahlawan fantasy Amerika. Kisah di mulai dengan perjalanan Tony Stark ke gurun Afghanistan bersama para petinggi tentara AS termasuk sahabat dan Letkol James Rhodes untuk mendemosntrasikan peluru kendali terbaru ciptaanya yang di beri nama Jericho. Demonstrasi itu berjalan berjalan lancar. Sayangnya saat dalam perjalanan pulang, Tony yang menolak satu kendaraan dengan Rhodes di serang oleh para teroris. Tony terluka parah di dada terkena ledakan peluru buatan Stark Industri, pabrik senjata miliknya.
