Imunisasi polio merupakan imunisasi

Imunisasi polio merupakan imunisasi yang digunakan untuk mencegah terjadinya penyakit poliomyelitis yang dapat menyebabkan kelumpuhan pada anak. Tujuan dari karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu balita mengenai teknis pelaksanaan imunisasi polio. Pengetahuan mengenai teknis cara, waktu, usia pemberian imunisasi polio pada balita. Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi polio dengan pelaksanaan imunisasi polio di posyandu anggrek desa Langenharjo kecamatan Grogol kabupaten Sukoharjo oleh Sri Aminingsih, Diyono dan Pungky NP Dan penelitian di puskesmas Pagiyanten kecamatan Adiwerna kabupaten Tegal oleh Tris Lutfiyah, Edi Sucipto dan Reni Cipto P. Penelitian di di posyandu anggrek desa Langenharjo kecamatan Grogol kabupaten Sukoharjo dengan hasil pengetahuan yang tinggi dari 33 responden yang patuh melaksanakan imunisasi polio 30 responden (90,91%) dan di puskesmas Pagiyanten kecamatan Adiwerna kabupaten Tegal dengan hasil pengetahuan yang kurang baik yaitu dari 75 responden yang tidak patuh melaksanakan imunisasi dasar 23 responden (30,7%). Dan berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi polio dengan kepatuhan ibu melaksanakan imunisasi polio. Sudah ada penelitian tentang hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi polio dengan kepatuhan ibu melaksanakan imunisasi polio tetapi untuk pengetahuan ibu balita mengenai teknis pelaksanaan imunisasi polio secara khusus belum ada.
