Pada persalinan melalui bedah sesar sangat rentan terjadi infeksi. Penggunaan antibiotik profilaksis pada operasi bedah sesar dapat mengurangi risiko terjadinya infeksi pascaoperasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya efektivitas antibiotik profilaksis, antara antibiotik tunggal dan antibiotik kombinasi, dengan lamanya waktu perawatan. Hasil yang diperoleh untuk total biaya yang dikeluarkan antibiotik ceftazidime tunggal Rp. 92.552 dan penggunaan antibiotik ceftriaxone dengan biaya Rp. 127.215 dengan masing-masing lama perawatan empat hari. Biaya yang lebih murah untuk antibiotik tunggal yaitu dengan penggunaan antibiotik ceftazidime. Biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk antibiotik kombinasi amoxicillin, kalium klavulanat injeksi, dan amoxicillin oral Rp. 424.050 dan penggunaan antibiotik kombinasi sefalosporin generasi ketiga injeksi dan amoxicillin oral, biaya yang harus dibayarkan sebesar Rp. 635.146 dengan masing-masing lama perawatan lima hari. Biaya yang lebih murah untuk antibiotik kombinasi yaitu dengan penggunaan antibiotik amoxicillin, kalium klavulanat injeksi, dan amoxicillin oral. Dari biaya penggunaan antibiotik tunggal maupun kombinasi, hasilnya menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara besar biaya antibiotik dengan lama hari perawatan. Dengan menggunakan antibiotik yang lebih mahal, tidak menjamin proses penyembuhan akan lebih pendek.

This research aims to know the cost effectiveness of antibiotic prophylaxis, between single antibiotics and antibiotic combination, with the length of time treatment.
