This research aims to know the cost effectiveness of antibiotic prophylaxis, between single antibiotics and antibiotic combination, with the length of time treatment. The results obtained for total cost antibiotic ceftazidime single Rp. 92,552 and the use of the antibiotic ceftriaxone with cost of Rp. 127,215 long with each of the four-day care. Cheaper cost for a single antibiotic that is by the use of an antibiotic ceftazidime. Costs incurred for the antibiotic amoxicillin, potassium combination klavulanat injection, and oral amoxicillin is Rp. 424,050 and the use of third-generation cephalosporins combination antibiotic injection and oral amoxicillin, fees payable amounting to Rp. 635,146 with each treatment five days old. Cheaper cost for antibiotics combination that is with the use of the antibiotic amoxicillin, potassium klavulanat injection, and oral amoxicillin. Of the cost of single or combination antibiotic use, the results showed no relationship between the cost of the old days with antibiotic treatment.
