ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah terhadap pertumbuhan stek lada, serta mengetahui konsentrasi optimum ekstrak bawang merah yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan optimal pada stek lada. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok dengan perlakuan yang digunakan adalah Eo (tanpa konsentrasi), El (konsentrasi 100 ppm), E2 (konsentrasi 200 ppm), E3 (konsentrasi 300 ppm), E4 (konsentrasi 400 ppm)- Variabel pengamatan dalam penelitian ini adalah Tinggi tanaman (cm), Panjang akar (cm), Jumlah akar, Jumlah tunas, Berat segar berangkasan tan-, Berat kering oven berangkasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah (Allium cepa L.) berpengaruh tidak nyata tehadap pertumbuhan stek lada (Piper nigrum L.). Belum ditemukan Konsentrasi yang optimal ekstrak bawang merah untuk memberikan pertumbuhan stek lada yang optimal.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk cair Bio Urine Sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai dan mengetahui dosis optimum pupuk cair bio urine sapi yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanamankedelai yang optimal. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan yang digunakan adalah U0 (tanpa pupuk bio urine), U1(pupuk bio urine 1375 liter ha-1 atau 550 ml petak-1), U2 (pupuk bio urine 2750 literha-1 atau 1100 ml petak-1), U3 (pupuk bio urine 4125 literha-1 atau 1650 ml petak -1), dan U4 (pupuk bio urine 5500 literha-1 atau 2200 ml petak-1). Variabel pengamatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pada tinggi tanaman 3,08 cm, jumlah daun 2,90 helai, luas daun 1,17 cm2, berat berangkasan segar tan-114,74 gr, berat berangkassan kering oven tan-1 15,50 gr, berat berangkasan kering oven ha-1 15,50 kg, jumlah polong 9,44 buah, berat 100 biji1 0,91 gr, berat biji tan-110,30 gr, berat kering biji ha-1 10,30 kg, indeks panen 4,88 % dan dosis optimum pupuk bio urin sapi 5500 liter ha-1 dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan dosis optimum pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman terung. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dosis pupuk yaitu M0= kontrol/tanpa pupuk, M1=1 liter ha-1, M2= 2 liter ha-1, M3= 3 liter ha-1, M4= 4 liter ha-1. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah dan luas daun, panjang buah, diameter buah, jumlah buah, berat buah pertanaman, berat buah perhektar, berat brangkasan segar pertanaman, berat brangkasan segar perhektar dan indeks panen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dosis pupuk organik cair berpengaruh terhadap persentase peningkatan pertumbuahan dan hasil tanaman terung yaitu; tinggi tanaman sebesar (6,22%), jumlah daun sebesar (28,20%), luas daun sebesar (29,58%), panjang buah sebesar (43,11%), diameter buah sebesar (9,00%), jumlah buah sebesar (22,03%), berat buah pertanaman (25,62%), berat buah perhektar (16,70%), berat brangkasan segar pertanaman (28,58%), brangkasan perhektar sebesar (34,93%), dan indeks panen sebesar (53,91%). Dosis optimum pupuk organik cair yang memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman terung adalah 4 liter ha-1.

KANDUNGAN FOSFOR DAN KADMIUM PADA TANAH DAN BERAS SERTA RISIKO KADMIUM BAGI KESEHATAN PENDUDUK DI KELURAHAN TARUS

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di kelurahan Tarus, kabupaten Kupang, pada bulan Mei sampai bulan Juni 2013, untuk mengetahui jumlah kandungan fosfor dan Kadmium pada tanah beras, serta membandingkan konsentrasi Cd dengan ambang batas Standar Nasional Indonesia 7387:2009, serta memprediksi besarnya risiko Cd bagi kesehatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitain deskriptif eksperimental dengan menggunakan 12 sampel tanah dan beras. Kadar P-tersedia tanah dianalisis menggunakan metode Olsen, sedangkan, kadar Cd dari tanah dan beras dianalisis di laboratorium dengan metode analisis logam berat pada tanah dan tanaman, yang ditetapkan oleh Balai penelitan tanah, Departemen Pertanian. Hasil analisis P-tersedia tanah berkisar antara rendah – tinggi,namun bukan merupakan satu-satunya faktor penentu jumlah Cd pada tanah dan beras. Hasil analisis Laboratorium terhadap Cd beras, menunjukkan terdapat enam sampel yang tidak terdeteksi kadar Cdnya, enam sampel lainnya terdeteksi dan kemudian dideskripsikan risikonya setelah dibandingkan dengan standar baku mutu dan analisis risiko kesehatan. Hasil analisis kadar Cd menunjukan semua sampel beras masih berada di bawah standar baku mutu yaitu 0,4 mg kg-1. Analisis risiko menunjukan bahwa terdapat dua sampel beras yang dihasilkan dari lahan sawah tersebut tidak aman untuk dikonsumsi untuk durasi waktu 30 tahun. Sedangkan empat sampel lainnya berisiko untuk durasi waktu 60 tahun.

This research is a descriptive experimental penelitain with 12 soil samples and rice. P-levels of available soil is analyzed using the methods of Olsen, whereas, the levels of Cd from the soil and rice are analyzed in the laboratory with the method of analysis of heavy metals in soils and plants, set by Hall of geochemical soil, the Ministry of agriculture. The results of the analysis of P-land available ranging from low – high, but is not the only deciding factor the amount of Cd in soil and rice. Laboratory analysis results against rice Cd, shows there are six samples that undetectable levels of Cd, six other samples detected and then described the risk once compared with the standard quality raw and analysis of health risks. The results of the analysis of the levels of Cd shows all rice samples were still below standard quality raw i.e. 0,4 mg kg-1. Risk analysis indicates that there are two samples of rice produced from the paddy fields are not safe for consumption for the duration of 30 years. Results of the analysis of all samples showed levels of cadmium rice still below the quality standard of 0.4 mg kg-1. Risk analysis shows that there are two samples of rice produced from rice fields are not safe for consumption for a duration of 30 years.
