PEMBERIAN PERASAN KUNYIT TERHADAP JUMLAH LIMFOSIT DAN BASOFIL PADA AYAM PEDAGING YANG DIINFEKSI ANTIGEN ND

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian perasan kunyit terhadap jumlah limfosit dan basofil pada ayam pedaging yang di infeksi dengan antigen ND. Hewan percobaan yang digunakan adalah ayam pedaging sejumlah 40 ekor. rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 pengulangan. Keempat perlakuan tersebut adalah P0 (kontrol), P1 (40% perasan kunyit), P2 (50% perasan kunyit), P3 (60% perasan kunyit). Pemberian perasan kunyit dilakukan mulai dari DOC sampai umur 14 hari pada saat pagi hari (maksimal 4 jam pemberian). Penginfeksian antigen ND dilakukan pada umur 7 hari. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji ANOVA dan bila menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata, maka analisis dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Pemberian perasan kunyit pada ayam melalui air minum antara P0, P1, P2, P3, menghasilkan rata- rata jumlah limfosit antara A - B dan rata - rata jumlah basofil antara A - B yang secara statistik menghasilkan tidak ada perbedaan yang nyata (P> 0.05).
