Flexyble pavemenet merupakan perkerasan jalan yang berupa lentur yang dimana kekuatannya didasarkan pada perkuatan tanah asli dan memiliki umur rencana 5-10th hal ini berbeda dengan Rigid pavement (perkerasan kaku) yang dimana kekuatan berada pada slabb beton itu sendiri dan memiliki jangka waktu yang lama serta kuat terhadap berbaga cuaca, alasan ini sebagai acuan untuk merencanakan pada ruas jalan Secang – Pringsurat ini dengan methode yang ada (AASHTO) maka didapatkan Tebal Perkerasan yang digunakan 31cm dengan Dowel 38mm, Tiebar 12mm, serta didapatkan lebar lajur rencana 4 lajur lebar 3,5m tiap lajurnya serta 1m untuk lebar bahunya.
Dari perencanaan Secang – Pringsurat pada Sta 11+040 – 12+540 sepanjang 1,5km akan memaka Rencana Anggaran Biaya sebesar Rp. 22.109.588.600,00 sudah termasuk PPN sebesar 10% serta pembulatan nilai ratusan.
