Dari perhitungan SAW, hasil nilai preferensi untuk contoh diatas terdapat 2 alternatf yang memiliki nilai preferensi yang sama, yaitu A1 dengan A6, dan A2 dengan A3. Apabila muncul nilai preferensi yang sama seperti diatas, dalam sistem pendukung keputusan ini akan dibandingkan nilai di tiap kriteria, dimulai dari nilai yang memiliki bobot terbesar hingga terkecil. Pada contoh diatas, nilai A1 dan A6 dibandingkan nilai pada kriteria C1 yang memiliki bobot kriteria terbesar. Dari nilai tersebut, A6 memiliki nilai yang lebih besar. Jadi, A6 peringkatnya diatas A1. Begitu pula untuk A2 dan A3. Olehkarena nilai C1 pada A2 lebih besar dari A3, maka peringkat A2 terletak diatas dari A3. Berikut ini hasil perangkingan tersebut.
