Menurut Agus Ristono (2009) langkah strategis yang diperlukan untuk implementasi JIT, salah satunya adalah mendefinisikan rantai proses kerja yang bernilai tambah, kemudian mendefinisikan proses kerja dengan menggunakan diagram alir proses dan menyeimbangkan lini proses dengan tenaga kerja dan fasilitas yang ada. Lingkup kerja yang terinci dan terdefinisi lengkap akan dengan mudah mendeteksi masalah. Sehingga aliran produksi akan lancar dan mengurangi waktu tunggu yang menjadi aspek penting pada metode JIT.

According to Agus Ristono (2009) strategic measures necessary for the implementation of JIT, one is defining a work process chain of value-added, then define the work process using flowchart process and balancing process line with manpower and facilities. The scope of work is detailed and complete defined will easily detect the problem. So the production will flow smoothly and reduce the waiting time that is becoming an important aspect on the method JIT.
