Berdasarkan latar belakang, perumusan masalah, dan tujuan, maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksploratif. Penelitian eksploratif yaitu penelitian yang dilaksanakan untuk menggali data dan informasi tentang topik atau isu-isu baru yang ditujukan untuk kepentingan pendalaman atau penelitian lanjutan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Tujuan pengumpulan data adalah untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai persepsi project manager dalam mengimplementasikan penggunaan metode just in time untuk komponen pracetak di lokasi proyek konstruksi

Based on the background, the formulation of problems and goals, then the research is exploratory research method. Exploratory research i.e. research carried out to explore the data and information on topics or issues recently addressed in the interest of deepening or advanced research. The method in this research is a survey using a questionnaire. The purpose of data collection is to collect information on the perception of the project manager in implementing the use of the method just in time for prefabricated components on site construction project
