Literature search of the plant genus Mikania shows this has a major compound classes of terpenoids, flavonoids and phenyl group little provanoid. Terpenoid compounds that have been reported to be found in many different types, namely monoterpenoid, sesquiterpenoid, diterpenoid, and triterpenoids. Of those species most dominant sesquiterpene compounds are found and in the framework of varying shapes also include germacren, azulen, eudesman, humulen, and elements used. Meanwhile the flavonoid found in the framework of the phenyl group propanoid flavones and is commonly found in the form of coumarin (Rufatto et al., 2012).
