The relationship between loneliness and Internet Addiction Tendencies in teenagers Admin E-Journal of Clinical Psychology Jp dd 2015 Abstract: this research aims to know the relationship between loneliness and internet addiction tendency in adolescence. This research was conducted at 309 early teens with age range of 12-16 years consisting of 132 students and 177 students. Measuring instrument used was UCLA Loneliness, was Scale Version 3, developed by Russel, et al (1996) and Internet Addiction Test (IAT) compiled by Young, (1998). Data analysis technique used is correlation Spearman-Rho. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between the loneliness and internet addiction tendency in adolescence. The magnitude of the coefficient of correlation between the two variables is 0.251 level of significance 0.000 (p < 0.05).
