2. Pengenalan Makanan Musang

Musang diberi makan setiap sore hari. Makanan musang di KLC ini terdiri dari buah-buahan dan daging ayam rebus. Satu ekor musang dapat menghabiskan 1 kg pisang dan 1 liter susu segar yang dicampur dengan telur dan madu, dan terkadang diselingi dengan pepaya 1 kg. Jadwal menu makanan musang kecuali di hari senin dan kamis diberi buah-buahan. Untuk hari senin dan kamis diberi biji kopi arabika. Kopi bukan makanan pokok musang melainkan hanya sebagai cemilan, makanan pokok musang hanya buah-buahan.

3. Pencegahan Penyakit pada Musang
Musang diberi vaksin rabies 1 tahun sekali dan vaksin vitamin 6 bulan sekali. Selain itu, diberi pula obat cacing 6 bulan sekali dan Scott’s Emulsion untuk menambah nafsu makan musang apabila nafsu makannya terlihat menurun yang disebabkan oleh bakteri di perutnya. Apabila musang sakit maka dibawa ke rumah sakit hewan. Penyakit yang sering menyerang musang biasanya ialah mencret, nafsu makan tidak bagus, dan penyakit kulit.
