Ali merancang penjejak mathari pada tahun 2004 menggunakan progammable logic controller (PLC). Penelitian ini mengembangkan software dan hardware. PLC salah satu hardware yang digunakan untuk mengontrol dan memonitor pegerakan komponen mekanik dari modul PV. Dengan adanya PLC panel surya dapat mendapatkan radiasi matahari meningkat hingga 20% dibanding dengan modul yang dipasang tanpa teknologi ini. Sistem tracking ini menggunakan port serial RS232 untuk memonitor hasil melalui layar komputer [1]

PLC one of the hardware that is used to control and monitor pegerakan mechanical components of PV modules. With the solar panel PLC can obtain solar radiation increased by 20% compared to modules that were installed without this technology. This tracking system using an RS232 serial port for monitoring the results on a computer screen [1]
