Adapun hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diatas menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung yang mempengaruhi keputusan Just In Time penggunaan komponen pracetak di perusahaan konstruksi Kota Surabaya adalah lingkup kerja yang terinci dan terdefinisi dengan lengkap. Menurut pendapat dari project manajer perusahaan konstruksi yang belum menerapkan, lingkup kerja yang terinci dan terdefinisi mampu memperlancar aliran aktivitas proyek sesuai jadwal, peralatan, dan tenaga kerja. Faktor ini mempengaruhi metode Just In Time pada komponen pracetak cast in situ. Penggunaan material pracetak cast in situ lebih menyulitkan penerapan metode Just In Time dibandingkan dengan pracetak pabrik siap pasang. sehingga diperlukan perencanaan yang terinci (pertiwi, 2002).
Dengan adanya faktor ini akan dengan mudah mengontrol perencanaan pembelian / pengiriman sesuai konsumsi saat ini dan mengatasi masalah keterbatasan lokasi. Jenis proyek gedung yang berpotensi dengan JIT ialah apartemen. Pembangunan high rise building pada sektor property salah satunya apartemen, kian marak dilakukan di Kota Surabaya. Masalah keterbatasan lahan menjadi alasan pembangunan secara vertical. Menurut Agus Ristono (2009) langkah strategis yang diperlukan untuk implementasi JIT, salah satunya adalah mendefinisikan rantai proses kerja yang bernilai tambah, kemudian mendefinisikan proses kerja dengan menggunakan diagram alir proses dan menyeimbangkan lini proses dengan tenaga kerja dan fasilitas yang ada. Lingkup kerja yang terinci dan terdefinisi lengkap akan dengan mudah mendeteksi masalah. Sehingga aliran produksi akan lancar dan mengurangi waktu tunggu yang menjadi aspek penting pada metode JIT.
