ABSTRAK
Imunisasi polio merupakan imunisasi untuk mendapatkan kekebalan terhadap virus poliomyelitis yang dapat menyebabkan kelumpuhan. Tujuan dari penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu balita mengenai teknis pelaksanaan imunisasi polio, pengetahuan teknis cara, waktu, usia pemberian imunisasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di desa kragan gondangrejo karanganyar, responden yang patuh melaksanakan imunisasi polio dengan tingkat pengetahuan tinggi yaitu 17 responden (50%), dan responden yang tidak patuh dalam melaksanakan imunisasi polio dengan tingkat pengetahuan rendah ada 3 responden ( 8,8%). Tetapi mengenai pengetahuan teknis cara, waktu, usia pemberian imunisasi sampai saat ini belum ada yang meneliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa pengetahuan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan imunisasi polio. Dengan mengetahui teknis pelaksanaan imunisasi polio maka ibu balita dapat melaksanakan imunisasi dengan baik dan benar sehingga balita dapat terhindar dari polio.

ABSTRACTImmunization of polio immunization is to gain immunity against poliomyelitis virus which can lead to paralysis. The aim of this scientific paper writing is to know the description of knowledge about the technical implementation of the toddler's mother immunization of polio, technical knowledge the manner, time, age of the giving of the immunization. Based on the results of the study in the village of kragan karanganyar, gondangrejo respondents who dutifully carry out polio immunization with a high level of knowledge i.e. 17 respondents (50%), and respondents who do not comply in carrying out polio immunization with a low level of knowledge, there are three respondents (8.8%). But regarding the technical knowledge the manner, time, age of the giving of the immunization until recently there has not been investigated. Based on the results of the research can be views that knowledge very influential towards the implementation of polio immunization. The purpose of this scientific paper is to describe the technical knowledge of mothers regarding the implementation of polio immunization, technical know how, time, age of immunization. Based on the results of research in the village Kragan Gondangrejo karanganyar, respondents who dutifully implement the polio immunization with a high level of knowledge that is 17 respondents (50%), and respondents who were not obedient in implementing polio immunization with a low level of knowledge there are three respondents (8.8%). But the way of technical knowledge, time, age of immunization until now no one has studied. Based on the research results can be seen that knowledge affects the implementation of polio immunization. By knowing the technical implementation of the polio immunization mothers can carry out immunization properly so that children can be protected from polio.
