Daun mangga (Mangifera indica L.) digunakan untuk mengobati Antidiabetes. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dari ekstrak daun mangga serta mengatahui dosis yang paling efektif sebagai Antidiabetes pada hewan percobaan. Penulisan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Tes toleransi glukosa oral dan metode Induksi Streptozosin dosis yang paling efektif menurunkan kadar glukosa darah adalah 8,4mg/kg bb. Parameter yang diamati adalah penurunan kadar glukosa darah. Hasil yang di dapat menunjukan bahwa pada metode Tes toleransi glukosa yang paling baik untuk menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dan ektrak etanol daun mangga berpotensi sebagai Antidiabetes.

The leaves of the mango (Mangifera indica l.) is used to treat anti diabetic. The writing is aimed at knowing the activity of mango leaf extract as well as the most effective dose to know us as anti diabetic animal experiment. The writing is done by using the method of oral glucose tolerance Test and method of induction of Streptozosin the most effective dose lowered blood glucose levels is 8, 4mg/kg. The parameters observed was a decrease in blood glucose levels. Results in may showed that glucose tolerance Test on the method that is best for lowering blood glucose levels and ektrak ethanol mango leaves potentially as anti diabetic.
