Selain lewat jalur di atas, anda juga bisa melalui jalur yang berada di sekitar Rumah Adat Sembalun Bumbung, dimana jika anda datang dari arah Pusuk Sembalun, ketika anda tiba di persimpangan Rumah Adat maka anda harus mengambil arah kanan dan masuk melalui jalan rabat yang berada di sebelah Lapangan Umum Sembalun Bumbung. Teruslah berjalan hingga anda menemukan sungai yang berada di tengah perkampungan Sembalun Bumbung, dari sana anda harus mengambil arah kiri sehingga anda akan menemukan jembatan dari bambu. Dengan demikian maka anda harus meninggalkan kendaraan bermotor dan mulailah anda untuk menapaki track menuju puncak Bukit Nanggi dengan berjalan kaki. Jika anda kebingungan menemukan jalur pendakian ini maka anda tinggal bertanya kepada warga sekitar, insyallah mereka akan memberikan anda informasi lengkap tanpa biaya. Jika anda berangkat dari Kota Mataram menuju Desa Sembalun Bumbung maka anda akan menempuh jaraknya sekitar 90 km dengan waktu tempuh sekitar 2 jam.
