Komunikasi jarak jauh biasanya sering menimbulkan permasalahan yaitu terjadinya komunikasi yang terjalin tidak efektif atau tidak emosional karena tidak terjalin lagi dengan baik, kedekatan yang berkurang karena hubungan yang renggang karena kurangnya berkomunikasi. Keberhasilan dalam berkomunikasi baru akan terlihat berhasil apabila satu sama lain mampu menyeimbangi agar komunikasi tetap berjalan dan tercipta dengan baik dan harmonis.
