Prosedur observasi, observasi partisipatif, peneliti melibatkan diri dalam lingkungan penelitian dan situasi dimana penelitian dilaksanakan. Peneliti berbicara dengan bahasa mereka, bergurau dengan mereka, menyatu dengan mereka dan sama-sama terlibat dalam pengalaman yang sama.
Prosedur wawancara, menggunakan wawancara bebas wawancara ini tidak berpedoman pada wawancara yang ditanyakan berupa garis-garis besar permasalahan tidak mengenal waktu dan tempat.
