CATATAN PINGGIR 

Mungkin kita pernah mendengar ungkapan ahli hikmah yang berbunyi: 

رضا الناس غاية لا تدرك 

"Ridho manusia adalah cita yang tak bisa diraih"

Tapi seringkali ungkapan ini dinukil setengah-setengah. Padahal ungkapan ini mengandung makna yang sangat luar biasa bila dinukil seutuhnya.

رضا الناس غاية لا تدرك ورضا الله غاية لا تترك ، فاترك ما لا يدرك ، وأدرك ما لا يترك

"Ridho manusia adalah cita yang tak bisa diraih, sedangkan ridho Allah adalah sesuatu yang tak sepatutnya ditinggal. Oleh karena itu, tinggalkanlah apa yang tidak mampu diraih, dan raihlah apa yang tak sepatutnya ditinggal."

Berharap pada manusia itu melelahkan.
Bila engkau memiliki 99 kebaikan dan satu keburukan, maka mereka akan mencelamu karena satu kesalahan itu dan melupakan 99 lainnya.
Begitulah laku manusia...

Tapi tidak dengan Allah. .
Bila engkau memiliki 99 keburukan dan satu 1 kebaikan, maka Allah akan mengampunimu karena satu kebaikan itu berkat kemurahan-Nya. Itu bila engkau tidak menyekutukan-Nya.
Begitulah kasih Allah..

Jadi... mengapa engkau sibuk mencari simpati manusia lalu menjauh dari Allah.?
