Flavonoids are the secondary metabolites of the most diverse and widespread. About 5-10% of plant secondary metabolites are flavonoids, with the chemical structure and the role of various biological Compounds formed from the shikimate pathway and fenilpropanoid, with some alternative biosynthesis. Many flavonoids found in green plants (except algae), especially the vascular plants. Flavonoids are actually present on all parts of the plant including the leaves, roots, wood, leather, pollen, nectar, flowers, fruit and seeds buni. Approximately 2% of all the carbon difotosintesis by vegetation is converted into flavonoids (Arifin, 1985).
