Senyawa dengan tipe yang berbeda yaitu tipe heliangolides dan melampolides ditemukan pada bagian campuran bunga dan daun M. minima diantaranya (6S,7R,8S)-8,14,15-Triacetoxyhelianga-1(10),4,11(13)-trien-6,12-olide (29). (6S,7R,8S)-8,14-Diacetoxyhelianga-1(10),4,11(13)-trien-15-al-6,12-olide (31).(6S,7R,8S)- 8,15-Diacetoxymelampa-1(10),4,11(13)-trien-14-al-6,12-olide (32), (6S,7R,8S)-8,15-Diacetoxy-14-hydroxymelampa-1(10),4,-11(13)-triene-6,12-olide (33) (Cuenca et al., 1993).

From the study of literature not only compounds these Terpenoids which has two ring lactones, some compounds that have a single ring lactones found also in the genus Mikania in several different species such as 1 (10) E (3S, 4R, 5R, 7S, 8S)-14-Acetyloxy-3,4-epoxy-5-hydroxy-15senecioyloxygermacra-1 (10), 11 (13)-dien-8,12-olide (25), 1 (10) E-(3S, 4R, 5R, 7S, 8S)-14-Acetyloxy-3,4-epoxy-5-hydroxy-15isovaleroyloxygermacra-1 (10)(13), 11-dien-8,12-olide (26) isolated from a mixture of flowers and leaves of m. thapsoides (Catalan et al., 2003). Of the species m. gruziefae Bohlmann et al (1982), managed to isolate the two sesquiterpene lactones: α-acetoxyeupatolide 2 (27) and α-acetoxylaurenobiolide 2 (28). Compounds with different type i.e. type heliangolides and melampolides found in the mix of flowers and leaves of m. minima are (6S, 7R, 8S) -8,14, 15-Triacetoxyhelianga-1 (10) 4, 11 (13)-trien-6.12-olide (29). (6S, 7R, 8S) -8,14-Diacetoxy-l5-hydroxyhelianga-1 (10), 4-11 (13)-trien-6.12-olide (30).
