Lagu ini menceritakan tentang seorang pria yang meyakinkan kekasihnya bahwa ia sangat mencintainya dan mencurahkan perasaannya dalam sebuah lagu agar kekasihnya tahu bahwa ia tak dapat hidup tanpa dirinya, betapa pun rintangan ke depan yang akan menghadang dan bagaimana pun perubahan yang akan ada dalam hidupnya, sedikit pun tak akan mampu mengubah rasa cintanya.
Interpretation :
Ketika pertama kali saya mendengar lagu ini, sebetulnya saya sama sekali tidak menyukainya, bukan hanya penyanyinya yang tidak saya kenal tetapi lagu yang sudah terlalu lama dan tidak sesuai dengan lagu zaman sekarang (dalam bahasa indonesia, JADUL). Namun karena kakak saya sering memperdengarkan lagu ini ketika saya di Makassar, saya mulai menyukai lagu yang berjudul “Nothings Gonna Change My Love For You” ini dan mencari artinya.
Ternyata lagu ini bukan hanya menceritakan kisah yang romantis antara seorang pria dan wanita tetapi melalui lagu ini kita juga dapat mengetahui bahwa seorang wanita bukan hanya membutuhkan cinta dan perhatian tetapi juga sebuah kepastian akan cintanya agar wanita tersebut tidak meragukannya lagi.
Saya suka ini lagu, walaupun saya baru mengenalnya beberapa bulan terakhir ini. Bukan hanya karena lagunya tetapi karena liriknya yang sangat sesuai dengan perasaan saya saat ini.

When I first heard this song, actually I did not like it, not just singers who I do not know but the song that has been too long and does not correspond to the song today (in Indonesian, old school). But because my brother often play this song when I was in Singapore, I began to like the song called "Nothings Gonna Change My Love For You" and find meaning.
It turned out that the song was not only tells the story of the romance between a man and a woman but through song we also know that a woman is not only in need of love and attention but also an assurance of his love so that the woman does not doubt it anymore.
I like this track, although I have known him these past few months. Not just because of the song, but because the lyrics are very fit with my feelings today.
