Pada intinya, proses pewarisan budaya kampung Cikareumbi yaitu ruwatan lembur berjalan secara Bottom-up, artinya pewarisan yang dilakukan dimulai oleh para remaja serta sosialisasi primer yang dilakukan dari orang tua terhadap anaknya, sehingga proses internalisasi sudah terbentuk sejak dini pada diri generasi penerus kampung Cikareumbi.
