Fisioterapi di indonesia masih langka di indonesia. Hal itu dapat di ketahui dari pengetahuan masyarakat Terhadap fisioterapi. Dari persoalan ini, fisioterapi harus melakukan promosi kesehatan yang lebih kepada masyarakat. Contohnya adalah penyuluhan kesehatan ke desa desa terpencil di indonesia. Cara ini dilakukan agar masyarakat lebih mengetahui tentang cara bagaimana untuk menghadapi berbagai macam penyakit.
Penyuluhan di desa sebagai contoh seperti asam urat. Sebagai seorang fisioterapi, promosi kesehatan untuk masyarakat terkait hal itu adalah penyuluhan tentang bagaimana proses terjadinya asam urat.
asam urat di sebabkan karena tubuh kelebihan zat purin, dimana zat purin diperoleh dari makanan yang banyak mengandung zat tersebut, contohnya : bebek, daging sapi dll
