Co-op adalah program Belajar Bekerja Terpadu adalah sebuah stategi pendidikan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang mengintegrasikan mahasiswa dengan berbagai latar belakang ilmu yang didapatnya di bangku kuliah dengan pengalaman yang produktif. Program semacam ini di dunia internasional dengan nama “Work-Based Learning atau Work-Integrated Learning atau Cooperative Academic Education Program (Benny H.Hoed, 2003:2). Program Co-op tidak akan berjalan tanpa dukungan kuat dari dunia usaha, karena program ini merupakan proyek kerja sama antara mahasiswa , institusi pendidikan dan dunia usaha ( Evans 1987:208 dalam Benny H.Hoed, 2003:13).
