angkah pertama untuk menghitung kualitas konektivitas jaringan jalan adalah menyediakan peta jaringan jalan kota Padangsidimpuan dari peta tersebut digambarkan jaringan jalan yang menjadi tinjauan kemudian digambarkan dalam bentuk model jaringan. selanjutnya membuat model jaringan jalan berdasarkan jenis kendaraan, kendaraan yang melewati jaringan jalan diklasifikasikan menjadi tujuh kendaraan yaitu: truk kelas 1, truk kelas 2, truk kelas 3, pick-up, mpv, sedan dan sepeda motor. untuk paper ini hanya akan membahas truck kelas 1.
