Keadaan mulai berubah ketika terjadi kenaikan produksi kopi robusta. Saat ini dimana pangsa pasarnya naik diatas 30%, harganya anjlok dibawah arabika hingga hampir setengahnya. Tentu saja ini sangat mengkhawatirkan mengingat lebih dari 80% produksi kopi Indonesia adalah robusta.
