Penelitian ini mengkaji pemanfaatan data MODIS untuk identifikasi area kebakaran menggunakan beberapa model yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya, khususnya oleh Nunohiro et al. (2007) dan membandingkannya dengan model yang digunakan oleh Suwarsono (2012). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan model yang lebih baik dalam mengidentifikasi area bekas kebakaran. Dengan demikian, hasilnya dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan oleh pemerintah setempat dan instansi terkait lainnya dalam membuat kebijakan pengendalian kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.

Results (English) 1:

This research examines the utilization data for the identification of the FASHIONABLE area of fire using several models that have been developed before, especially by Nunohiro et al. (2007) and compare it with the model used by Suwarsono (2012). The results of this research are expected to produce a better model in identifying areas of fire scars. Thus, the results can be used as material for consideration by the local government and other related agencies in making policy of controlling forest fires and land in West Kalimantan province.

This study examines the use of MODIS data for identification of the fire area using several models that have been developed previously, notably by Nunohiro et al. (2007) and compare it with the model used by Suwarsono (2012). Results of this study are expected to produce a better model to identify areas of the former fire. Thus, the results can be used as material for consideration by the local authorities and other relevant agencies in making policy control land and forest fires in the province of West Kalimantan.
