Berdasarkan simpulan tersebut dapat diberikan saran-saran sebagai berikut.1. Penanaman jagung saat musim hujan disarankan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan air tanaman jagung selama masa pertumbuhan, khususnya pada fase vegetatif tanaman jagung membutuhkan air lebih banyak serta menjaga kelembaban tanah agar optimal untuk pertumbuhan tanaman jagung.2. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari tahun 2003 sampai dengan 2017 sehingga untuk penelitian selanjutnya, penggunaan tahun-tahun terbaru perlu diperhatikan agar pelaksanaan penelitian bisa lebih mendalam dan intensif sehingga diperoleh suatu kebenaran yang lebih detail dan valid serta sebagai pengembangan dari penelitian ini.3. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan informasi untuk membuat penelitian yang lebih luas dan mendalam mengenai pengaruh jumlah curah hujan terhadap produktivitas jagung, sehingga dapat diperoleh gambaran yang lebih jelas dan rinci ketika melibatkan faktor-faktor lainnya, karena selain jumlah curah hujan yang merupakan salah satu faktor memengaruhi produksi jagung, ada faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi produksi jagung seperti lingkungan, tanah, pupuk yang diberikan.
