Di nagreg terdapat situs batu yang diduga merupakan situs batu kerajaan kendan. Situs batu ini memiliki suasana seperti Jurassic Park. Nagreg merupakan salah satu daerah yang menyimpan sejarah Sunda. Di daerah ini pernah berdiri sebuah kerajaan yang bernama Kendan pada tahun 536 M. Raja yang pertama bernama Resiguru Manik Maya yang menikah dengan seorang putri dari tarumanegara yang bernama Tirta Kencana, putri dari raja Tarumanegara ke-9 yaitu Maharaja Suryawarman. Keberadaan Kendan menjadi penting adanya, karena Kendan menjadi tempat para prajurit Tarumanegara ditempa dan dari kerajaan ini kemudian berkembang menjadi sebuah kerajaan besar bernama Galuh, yang ketika itu kekuasaan kerajaan Kendan dipegang oleh Prabu Wretikandayun pada tahun 612 M. Salah satu peninggalan yang ditemukan di situs batu ini yaitu arca Dewi Durga. Kini keberadaan artefak tersebut disimpan di museum nasional Jakarta.
