Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan project manajer dalam perusahaan konstruksi Kota Surabaya yang tergabung dalam GAPENSI. Responden terdiri dari responden pada perusahaan konstruksi kelas menengah dan responden pada perusahaan kelas besar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kuesioner yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar lama pengalaman project manager di bidang proyek konstruksi 10-20 tahun sebesar 44%. Kepemilikan perusahaan yang tergabung merupakan swasta. Walaupun kepemilikkan swasta namun perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut lebih banyak melakukan proyek pemerintah. Sehingga mereka kurang lebih memahami karakteristik pembangunan yang tepat pada Kota Surabaya. Jenis pengalaman proyek di perusahaan konstruksi yang menggunakan komponen pracetak ialah perkantoran (26%), apartemen (15%), dan hotel (9%). Keterbatasan lahan pada suatu kota mempengaruhi keputusan perusahaan konstruksi menggunakan komponen pracetak untuk meningkatkan efektif proses produksi. Pemahaman keseluruhan perusahaan konstruksi menjelaskan bahwa mereka mengetahui dan memahami metode Just In Time. Walaupun mereka mengetahui dan memahami metode Just In Time, sebagian besar responden masih belum menerapkannya pada proyek konstruksi (60%). Perusahaan konstruksi terbanyak yang belum menerapkan ialah perusahaan konstruksi kelas menengah sebesar 67%, sedangkan pada perusahaan konstruksi kelas besar sebesar 39%. Menurut responden terhadap keuntungan menggunakan metode Just In Time, bahwa sebagian besar dari mereka menganggap menggunakan metode Just In Time lebih menguntungkan sebesar 46%, namun tidak sedikit mereka menganggap sama saja menguntungkan sebesar 42%.

Respondents in this research is the project manager of the construction company in the city of Surabaya in GAPENSI. Respondents consisted of respondents on a middle-class construction company and the respondent company a great class. Based on the results of the research questionnaire that has been performed, the obtained that most of the long experience of the project manager in the field of construction project 10-20 years of 44%. Ownership of the company incorporated is privately held. Although the private kepemilikkan however these companies doing more government projects. So they more or less understand the characteristics of the right to development in the city of Surabaya. Type of project experience in a construction company that uses components of preprints is an Office (26%), apartments (15%), and hotels (9%). Understanding the overall construction company explained that they know and understand the method Just In Time. Even though they know and understand the method Just In Time, most of the respondents still don't apply on construction projects (60%).
