Total mikroba pada semua sampel ikan beku tidak mencapai standar BAM, yaitu 25-250 koloni karena sampel ikan nila diletakkan didalam freezer yang suhunya dibawah 10ᴼC. Banyak bakteri tidak tumbuh pada suhu dibawah 10ᴼC dan psychotrophic organisme tumbuh sangat lambat. Shewanella putrefaciens merupakan salah satu bakteri yang dapat menyebabkan ikan mengalami kebusukan.

A total of microbes on all frozen fish samples did not reach the standard of BAM, i.e. 25-250 colonies due to sample fish tilapia were placed in freezers where temperature is below 10 ᴼ C. Many bacteria do not grow at temperatures below 10 C ᴼ and psychotrophic organisms grow very slowly. Shewanella putrefaciens is one of the bacteria that can cause fish undergo canker.
