Integrated Pest Management (IPM) has been recognized as a concept or paradigm that is dynamic, and constantly adjust to the dynamics of agricultural ecosystems and socio-economic system of local culture. Development of the concept of IPM into two paradigms, namely Technological Integrated Pest Management (IPM Technology IPM also called Classical) and Ecological Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Ecology) (Waage 1996 in Untung 2003). The technology developed to control pests and rice crops is based on the concept of integrated pest management (IPM) by considering the ecosystem, stability, and continuity of production in accordance with the demands of good agricultural practices (Good Agricultural Practices, GAP). Increased public awareness of the environment has prompted the need to prioritize environmental sustainability and occupational safety and health factors (K3) in economic decision making
