Tiba-tiba saja, Carter sudah duduk

Tiba-tiba saja, Carter sudah duduk di sebelahku, dengan snapbacknya yang terpasang terbalik di kepalanya. Dia menatapku dengan senyumannya seperti biasa.

Aku mendecak, "Apa yang kau lakukan disini?" tanyaku karena dia mengganggu waktu ku yang seharusnya sendirian.

Carter terkekeh, "Jadi, kau sudah tidak menganggapku temanmu lagi?" kata Carter sinis.

"Tid..."

BRAK!

Seseorang menggebrak mejaku dengan keras. Aku dan Carter yag sedang mengobrol pun kaget. Ternyata, itu teman-teman Taylor, Shawn, Hayes, dan Aaron. Huft, mereka pasti akan membully ku lagi.

"What's your problem, dude?" bentak Carter sambil mendorong bahu Aaron kencang.

Aaron tertawa dipaksakan, lalu, ia melirikku, "Easy, dude. I just wan't your friend."

Carter yang mendengar Aaron berkata seperti itu, langsung mendorongnya sehingga Aaron terjatuh.
