Didalam novel ini menceritakan sebuah kisah keluarga, love, principle, pride, prejudice and wealth and society class also becomes two supporting themes in the novel and has influence to the plot. Sehingga penulis mendapatkan pelajaran tentang kehidupan yang begitu berharga.
