Kebanyakan mahasiswa mengisi hari libur panjang seperti hari libur semester genap di gunakan untuk pulang kampung halaman atau berwisata ke kota-kota wisat seperti bandung, malang, dan kota wisata lainnya. akan tetapi ada beberapa mahasiswa yang meluangkan waktu liburnya untuk mengadakan penggalanagn dana social yang tersebar dibeberapa tempat umum di kota jogja.
