Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur keterampilan proses siswa yaitu meramalkan, mengidentifikasi variabel secara operasional, mengontrol variabel, merancang eksperimen, menafsirkan, menyimpulkan, menyusun hipotesis dan mengkomunikasikan pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah research and development. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN I Malang. Tes berupa butir soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 butir soal. Tes yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sebagai alat ukur yang baik dilihat dari validitas isi, validitas empiris dan reliabilitas tes. Semua butir soal memiliki tingkat kesukaran yang sedang serta daya pembeda yang cukup dan baik.

Results (English) 1:

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid test instruments and reliability to gauge students ' process skills that is predicted, identifying variables in the operational, control variables, designing an experiment, interpret, infer, draw up hypotheses and communicate on heat and material transitions. The method of this research is the research and development. Sample research VIII SMP is grade I was unfortunate. Test in the form of grains of multiple choice question as many as 25 grains of matter. Tests developed meets the criteria as a good measurement tool viewing from the content validity, the validity and reliability of empirical tests. All matter has the difficulty level being as well as a sufficient criterion of power and good.

This research method is research and development. Samples were students of class VIII SMPN I Malang. Tests in the form of multiple choice items as many as 25 items. Test developed qualify as a good gauge views of content validity, empirical validity and reliability of the test. All items have a level of difficulty that is being and distinguishing enough and good.
