Bagian-bagian kulit:
1. Epidermis(lapisan kulit ari)
Merupakan bagian terluar yang sangat tipis. Bagian ini terdiri dari dua lapisan, yaitu:
a. Lapisan tanduk/stratum korneum
b. Lapisan malpighi
2. Dermis(lapisan kulit jangat)
Lapisan dermis lebih tebal dibandingkan lapisan epidermis. Di lapisan ini terdapat bagian-bagian berikut:
3. Hypotermis(jaringan ikat bawah kulit)
Pada jaringan ini terdapat lemak yang berfungsi menahan panas tubuh dan melindungi tubuh bagian dalam dari benturan.
