Menerapkan metode Just In Time pada

Menerapkan metode Just In Time pada penggunaan komponen pracetak proyek konstruksi dilakukan dengan beberapa alasan, lihat pada gambar 4.15. Alasan yang menjadi keputusan project manager menerapkan metode Just In time pada penggunaan komponen pracetak ialah perencanaan dari awal proyek (64%), adanya keterbatasan lokasi proyek (25%), kehabisan dana proyek/mengelola alur kas (4%), dan kondisi lingkungan untuk mengatur waktu yang efisien (7%). Perencanaan dari awal proyek menjadi alasan tertinggi untuk memutuskan metode just in time. Perencanaan dari awal proyek dilakukan dengan matang sesuai desain untuk penggunaan komponen pracetak yang dimulai dari kesesuaian bentuk, waktu pengiriman yang tepat, dan kualitas pada saat pemasangan. Sehingga perencanaan yang baik menjadikan tidak adanya penumpukan material berlebih di lokasi proyek, kesiapan menerima dan memasang, serta sangat efektif bagi lokasi proyek yang terbatas. Dengan metode Just In Time menurut para manager project juga mampu mengelola keterbatasan waktu, dan mengatur waktu yang efisien.
Perbandingan penggunaan metode konvensional dengan metode Just In Time jika dilihat dari segi keuntungan, menurut para project manajer lebih menguntungkan metode JIT. Prosentase pendapat para project manajer untuk lebih menguntungkan sebesar 46%, sedangkan pendapat yang berkata sama saja menguntungkan sebesar 42%. Untuk diagram perbandingan tersebut dapat dilihat pada gambar 4.16.
