Karakteristik geografis wilayah Kota Pasuruan yang didominasi oleh kawasan pesisir turut mempengaruhi potensi perikanan. Perikanan tangkap di pesisir utara menjadi salah satu aktivitas ekonomi yang menonjol.Potensi ini terlihat dari hasil produksi dari beberapa tahun terakhir, tercatat terjadi kenaikan sebesar 19,91% dari tahun 2016-2018 untuk produksi perikanan tangkap. Sedangkan produksi perikanan budidaya naik sebesar 8,68%.
