Pendidikan merupakan salah satu modal bangsa agar dapat berkembang dan sejahtera. Visi pembangunan nasional yaitu 2025 Indonesia yang mandiri, maju, adil dan makmur dapat terwujud jika Indonesia mampu mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dengan memajukan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk memajukan peradaban serta kesejahteraan umat manusia. Pemerintah dalam hal ini Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi menyelenggarakan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi agar dapat memastikan bahwa pendidikan tinggi yang bermutu terlaksana dengan baik. Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi terdiri dari Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Intern dan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Ekstern. Penjaminan mutu internal dilakukan sendiri oleh perguruan tinggi dengan ketentuan dan cara yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah sedangkan penjaminan mutu eksternal dilakukan oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT) dengan mengeluarkan nilai akreditasi program studi maupun perguruan tinggi. Penjaminan mutu internal yang dilakukan dengan baik akan membantu perguruan tinggi dalam memperoleh penjaminan mutu eksternal yang baik pula. Nilai akreditasi yang dikeluarkan oleh BAN-PT menjadi indikator utama yang digunakan masyarakat untuk menilai perguruan tinggi. Perguruan tinggi atau program studi yang memiliki nilai akreditasi yang baik, menjadi gambaran utama bahwa perguruan tinggi tersebut memiliki pengelolaan yang baik dan akan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas baik. Oleh sebab itu menjadi penting bagi setiap perguruan tinggi untuk memiliki nilai yang baik pada akreditasi BAN-PT termasuk bagi Universitas Tadulako.

The national development Vision 2025, namely an independent Indonesia, advanced, fair and prosperous can be realized if Indonesia is able to intellectualize life of the nation by promoting science and technology to advance civilization and the well-being of humanity. The Government in this regard the Ministry of research, Technology and higher education Quality Guarantee system of organizing higher education in order to ensure that high-quality education to be implemented properly. Quality Assurance system of higher education Quality Assurance System consists of Internal and External Quality Assurance System. Internal quality assurance undertaken by the College with the conditions and manner specified by the Government while the external quality assurance undertaken by the national accreditation agency for higher education (BAN-PT) with the value of the accreditation of a course or college. Internal quality assurance performed well will help the College obtain external quality assurance which is good anyway. The value of accreditation issued by BAN-PT becomes the main indicator used to evaluate Community College. A college or courses that have a value of accreditation is good, being the main picture that the College has a good management and will produce graduates who are of good quality. Therefore becomes important for every colleges to have good value on accreditation BAN-PT including for the University of Tadulako.

Colleges or courses that have accreditation good value, being the main picture that the university has a good management, and will produce good quality graduates. Therefore, it becomes important for every college to have a good value on accreditation BAN-PT including for Tadulako.
