Sebagai satu-satunya industri tambang batu bara yang beroperasi di Provinsi Aceh dan melakukan pengelolaan usaha secara terpadu dilengkapi dengan sarana dan prasarana infrastruktur, pembangunan jalur khusus pengangkutan & pelabuhan muatan batubara, terus memperlihatkan komitmennya untuk ambil bagian dan peduli di bidang pendidikan. Pada tahun 2016, PPMA-CSR PT Mifa Bersaudara mengagas program mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Aceh Barat dengan meluncurkan program Mifa Mengajar, Mifa Goes To School dan Mifa Goes To Campus dengan tujuan :
1. Memperkenalkan keberadaan PT Mifa Bersaudara sebagai perusahaan yang peduli masyarakat dan peduli lingkungan yang merupakan kebanggaan masyarakat Aceh.
2. Menumbuhkan kepedulian dan dukungan terhadap investasi yang ditanamkan di Aceh Barat.
3. Sarana edukasi dan memacu angkatan dunia pelajar dan mahasiswa untuk peningkatan kopetensi diri guna meraih peluang tantangan dunia kerja di era Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA).
Beberapa kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dengan program “Mifa Mengajar” diantaranya :
