3. Tahap Operasi Konkret
Tahap ini terjadi pada anak-anak umur 7-12 tahun. Pada tahap ini anak-anak mampu memahami hubungan-hubungan yang logis diantara benda-benda dan nomor-nomor. Di tahap ini pemikiran anak-anak tidak lagi didominasi oleh persepsi, sebab anak-anak telah mampu memecahkan masalah secara logis. Contohnya anak-anak telah mampu memahami bahwa melati merupakan kelompok dari bunga. Dengan kata lain anak-anak sudah mampu mengelompokan benda menurut kelompoknya. Selain itu pada tahap ini juga anak-anak telah mampu mengatur benda-benda berdasarkan ukuran atau beratnya.

3. Concrete Operations StageThis stage occur in children aged 7-12 years old. At this stage children are able to understand the logical relationships among objects and numbers. In this stage children's thinking is no longer dominated by the perception, because children have been able to solve the problem logically. For example, kids have been able to understand that Jasmine was a group of flowers. In other words, children are able to classify the objects according to the group. In addition at this stage also kids have been able to arrange objects by size or weight.
